OMG! It's Christmas Already!

Darlings, you must be terribly disappointed in me: I've been silent as the tomb the last month or so - just a somewhat bitchy post about Thanksgiving and then just a blurb about that beautiful new lamp.

Well, that's how it happens sometimes. I sometimes feel like I've conquered the new frontier of Gracious Living, and have not that much to say. But who knows - maybe next year will be different.

In the meantime, I'm jetting off to Chicago for a few days of shopping, then onto Omaha for a relaxing Vel-DuRay sort of Christmas with mother and sister-woman.

Oh. My. God.

I cooked not one, but TWO Thanksgiving dinners. Never again. Both delicious. Both tasteful. Both unforgettable for the attendees. But never again. I'm too old for that sort of thing.
