The bedroom is sort of patterned on what I imagine Burt and Angie's love nest could have looked like. I love those cheesy lamps, and the way the headboard sort of "floats" above the floor.
Here's another bedroom picture of my dresser. The sliding glass door leads out to the patio.
Here's my chest of drawers. I like its little legs.
A brief stop in the laundry room on the way to the TV room. This was my Uncle Jack and Aunt Rose Melia's China cabinet. It's full of stuff, and as you can tell, has an extension on top of it. It's all that gracious entertaining stuff I keep telling you about.
Speaking of gracious entertaining, you need an extra fridge for party platters, beverages, extra ice, etc... What could be prettier than a lovely little turquoise General Electric? And a nice deep vintage laundry sink (from Sears!) comes in handy for a beer server during parties! The washer/dryer, while not vintage, are vintage-esque (at least the front load washer)
Shameless self promotion department: What I would REALLY like is a fabulous vintage bottom freezer refrigerator, preferably Frigidaire "Sheer Look", and preferably in a fun color. If you live in the Seattle region and have one you don't need, please email me!
Back in the TV room, we see the newly reupholstered TV sofa! I got it from a real-life desparate housewife on the eastside. It had some dreadful fabric on it.

And here's the 1964 Rock-Ola Grand Prix Jukebox! A gift from my gracious employer. You can get a glimpse of the TV sofa before it was recovered in the lower left-hand corner.

Here's the fabulously campy "electric fireplace" from Sears! It's both a space heater AND a fake fireplace (so that on those hot summer evenings you can still have a merry crackling fire without any heat or muss!)

Here's my sleek and sophisticated Danish Modern wall unit, and my very messy desk.
