Here is the house with it's new yellow color, which I am quite fond of. Click on the picture to see what the house looked like in 1948.
This is the view from the front porch. When it's clear (those three days a year) you can see the mountains. You could the day I took this picture (7/4/05) but the camera just can't catch it. I blame it on the Yuccas.

I love that house on the corner.

...And this is the front porch. I know that a porch swing is "not exactly" Mid-Century Modern, but it's nice to sit in and observe the neighbors.
This is the view I have across the street - that whole block has never been developed. I'm enjoying it while it lasts - I'm sure it will be changed to ugly new housing one of these days. (Beacon Hill has it's own distinctive genre of ugly, tacky, poorly-built homes. I once wrote a rant about it. Click here to read it)
I don't know about you, but to me, nothing says "Easy Breezy Living" like a carport! It also doubles as an extra room for parties!
